Sandi is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Clinical Psychologist, trained at Cardiff University, and a British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, trained at Royal Holloway University of London.
She has over 13 years’ experience working across NHS mental health services in England and Wales, in both primary and secondary care. She currently works in a specialist perinatal community mental health team.
Sandi works with adults and young people experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:
Depression and anxiety, Low self-esteem, Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Health anxiety and phobias, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD),
Trauma related to single-event or prolonged, complex experiences,
Psychological support for individuals with long-term health conditions.
Sandi draws on systemic and attachment-informed models alongside evidence-based psychological therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Video Interactive Guidance. Her approach is culturally informed and collaborative, recognising the impact of culture, identity, relationships, and wider systemic factors. Sandi is committed to providing a warm, compassionate space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported to create meaningful change.
Sandi clinic is Saturday 0800-1100 in person and Thursday 0900-1500 online.
